Hosted Backup and Restore - How Does It Work?

Our offsite backup software runs a fully automated daily backup of your important files and data. After a quick and straightforward installation of the software, you select the files and/or directories with important data. You'll only have to do this the first time, but it's possible to change the selection later on when needed. The first time a full online backup will be made from the selected files. After you have selected a password, your files will be encrypted and compressed before being sent to our offsite servers for safe storage through an SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) connection.

From that moment on, a daily (incremental) backup will be made of all new and changed files at a time of the day determined by yourself. After each backup you'll receive an e-mail notification with a detailed report of your backup. If our servers do not receive your scheduled backup you'll be notified as well. Your files will be stored twice at different remote locations to ensure that there's always a copy available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.
