About Flint Young Professionals

Flint Young Professionals (FYP), a non-profit, all volunteer organization, is dedicated to building a better community in the greater Flint area. The Flint community is at a crossroads in its history; with the focus of its economy no longer focused on the auto industry it has become increasingly important to attract and retain talented young professionals in the area.  FYP hopes to fill that void by helping individuals develop stronger ties within the community while also providing opportunities for networking at the professional and social levels. 

The organization is made up of motivated, energetic young professionals destined to become the community's next generation of leaders. FYP encourages members to get involved and to make a difference by becoming active participants in the professional, civic and social aspects of their city.

FYP offers its members a way to link their personal passions with professional ambitions. The group is the one professional, civic and social organization that drives positive and real change in Flint, while giving young professionals a chance to make a significant impact in the community.
