When the energy of our membership is unified in a single voice, local, state and national leaders pay attention. Amplify your voice and the voice of your business needs as the Chamber advocates on key issues such as transportation infrastructure, health care, community investment, technology, tax reform, environment and energy regulation among others.

Advocate

The Chamber speaks for its members and represents their collective interests to regulators and officials at City Hall, the Statehouse, on Capitol Hill, and anywhere the business climate is being shaped.

Communicate

The Chamber has positioned itself as an honest broker between the public and private sectors. Through forums and Government Affairs luncheons, the Chamber gives you access to elected officials and business leaders. The Chamber also offers its members a chance to serve on a Government Affairs committee where they can speak to the legislative needs of their business and help develop Chamber policy positions.

Educate

As technology increases the speed at which a highly diverse pool of information can be accessed, it is important that engaged citizens find reliable, accurate, and up-to-date information. Through the Government Affairs webpage, Chamber publications and emails, standing committees, member meetings, and public forums the Chamber gives the Region’s business community an easily accessible information source.
